Summary
In 1947, notorious occultist Aleister Crowley shuffles off his mortal coil, leaving behind a legend that persists for decades. Forty-three years later in Cambridge, his spirit finds a vessel: Haddo, a reserved, stuttering professor who becomes unwitting host to Crowley's incorporeal presence.
