Story
An acting couple is forced to assess their life together when the wife falls for a wealthy horse-breeder while shooting a film.
Summary
When Michel and Josepha, a once-rising duo now struggling in B-movies and sparsely-attended stage productions, travel to Vichy for a film shoot, their relationship hits rock bottom. Josepha discovers Michel's affair with a press attaché, reigniting old wounds. Seeking solace, she finds herself drawn to Régis, a charismatic horse-breeder leading a glamorous life far removed from theirs. A passionate liaison ensues, fueled by desire and revenge. Meanwhile, Michel lands his career-defining role as Macbeth, ironically timed with Josepha's decision to leave him for Régis and his daughter Babette.
