Story
Years after Father Jebedaiah Mayii performed an exorcism on little Nancy Aglet, Nancy has grown up and started a family of her own. However, the demon that once possessed her returns to repossess Nancy. Father Mayii refuses to help, so Father Luke Brophy steps in to assist Nancy. Adding to the chaos is TV personality Ernest Weller who plans to broadcast the exorcism live on television.
Summary
'Repossessed' (1990) is a horror-comedy film directed by Bob Logan, spoofing the conventions of the horror genre, particularly those seen in 'The Exorcist'. The movie follows Nancy Aglet, who was once possessed as a child but has now grown up and started a family. When the demon returns to repossess her, Father Luke Brophy steps in to perform an exorcism despite the reluctance of Father Mayii, who originally performed the first exorcism on Nancy. The film also incorporates elements of live-reportage with TV personality Ernest Weller planning to broadcast the exorcism live, adding a humorous and chaotic twist to the story.
