Summary
In Rio de Janeiro's sun-kissed beaches, a diverse group of travelers converge, each seeking personal growth and existential clarity. Among them is Charlotte, a renowned British plastic surgeon who warns her cosmetic surgery clients against equating beauty with happiness. Meanwhile, William, a visiting U.S. diplomat, sheds his diplomatic duties to explore Rio's underbelly, befriending a charismatic local guide and his enchanting partner deep within the city's vibrant favelas. As their paths intertwine, these strangers begin to unravel the true reasons they were drawn to Rio's electrifying embrace.
