Story
The plot of the 2002 film "Sweetwater" follows a beautiful psychic (played by Chloe Jones) who is hired to help investigate a cold case involving a mysterious death. The investigation begins after skeletal remains are unearthed in the desert.
As the psychic assists a small-town sheriff (Michael Scorpio) in probing the case, she is overcome by vivid and wild visions while visiting a former bordello. These evocative flashbacks, often presented in black-and-white or stylized color, transport the narrative back approximately 70 years to reveal a violent gangland massacre from the past.
The story unfolds across two timelines—the present-day investigation and the historical events—leading the characters on a dark journey rooted in corruption and passion. Ultimately, the psychic and the sheriff discover that the secrets of the past continue to haunt the present.
Summary
Chloe Jones, the tragically short-lived Texas Playboy/Penthouse favorite who briefly made XXX videos, is investigating a cold case of some ancient murders, after skeletal remains are unearthed out in the desert.
