Gorbacheva rose to international prominence for her lead role as Katya in the 2017 film Arrhythmia (Aritmiya). Her nuanced performance as the pained and aloof doctor wife of a paramedic earned her several prestigious honors, including the Golden Eagle Award and the Nika Award for Best Actress, which are often considered the Russian equivalents of the Golden Globes and Oscars.
