Full Biography
Marja Pauliina Pyykkö is a Finnish director and actress born on March 26, 1975, in Helsinki, Finland. Her full birth name is Marja Pauliina Pyykkö.
She is widely recognized for her early acting role in the 1994 film Kissan kuolema (The Killing of a Cat), where she played one of the lead characters. While she began her career in front of the camera, she has since become a prominent figure behind it as a director. She is the daughter of the late industry professional Nadja Pyykkö. Her directing credits include acclaimed Finnish productions such as the crime series Hooked (Koukussa, 2015), the film Man and a Baby (Yösyöttö, 2017), and the international co-production The Paradise (Paratiisi, 2020).
