Milka Lukić was a distinguished Serbian and Yugoslav actress whose career spanned several decades of cinematic and television history. She was born as Milka Lukić on April 2, 1936, in Belgrade, then part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
Lukić rose to prominence in the early 1960s, gaining international attention for her role as Irka in the 1963 war drama Mensch und Bestie (Man and Beast). Her filmography is characterized by a wide range of roles in both serious dramas and popular comedies. She is particularly remembered by Yugoslav audiences for her performance in the iconic TV series Kamiondžije 2 (Truckers 2) and the drama Ljubav na seoski način. In 1977, she appeared in the acclaimed film Beštije (Beasts), directed by Živko Nikolić, which remains a notable entry in her body of work.
Throughout her life, she remained a respected figure in the Belgrade acting community until her passing on December 14, 2009, in her hometown of Belgrade.
