Full Biography

Noriko Kijima (木嶋 のりこ, Kijima Noriko) is a Japanese actress and gravure idol who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s. She was born on March 22, 1988, in Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Her birth name is recorded as Noriko Kijima, though she officially changed her stage name to Noriko Kohara (小原 徳子, Kohara Noriko) in November 2018.

Kijima's career began after she won the 2005 Seikore national contest for high school models. She quickly transitioned into acting, making her film debut at age eighteen in the award-winning movie Divide (2006). She is widely recognized for her roles in cult Japanese cinema, most notably as Yoshie in the 2008 action-gore film The Machine Girl and its sequel. Her filmography also includes starring roles in The Crawler in the Attic (2016), The Torture Club (2014), and Yuriko's Aroma (2010), the latter of which premiered at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Beyond acting, she was crowned "Miss East Sports 2012" and has maintained a consistent presence in the Japanese entertainment industry under both her original and current professional names.
