Ruthanna Hopper is an American actress, producer, and visual artist, born in 1972 to actor Dennis Hopper and actress Daria Halprin. Raised in Marin County, California, she is best known for her role in the 2005 film Americano, in which she also served as a producer and co-writer alongside her father. Her filmography further includes roles in Coming Soon (1999) and Buying the Cow (2002).
Beyond her cinematic work, Hopper is an accomplished visual artist and curator. She has also made a name for herself as a published author, co-writing the New York Times best-selling novel Celebutantes and its sequel Beneath a Starlet Sky. She is married to director Steven Brill.
