Full Biography
Born on October 19, 1991, in New York City, Samantha Robinson is a British-American actress who has gained international acclaim for her distinctive performances in independent and cult cinema. Growing up in a multicultural household with a Panamanian mother and an English father, she spent her early childhood in London, where she attended the Queen’s Gate School and began her training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). At the age of 14, she relocated to Miami and later moved to Los Angeles to study at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, graduating in 2014 with a concentration in acting.
Robinson achieved her major breakthrough in 2016 with the lead role of Elaine Parks in Anna Biller’s technicolor horror-comedy The Love Witch. Her performance, which combined old-Hollywood glamour with psychological depth, was hailed by The New Yorker as one of the best of the year and earned her a devoted cult following. Following this success, she appeared in the Netflix psychological thriller Cam (2018) and played the role of Abigail Folger in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Robinson is known for her attraction to offbeat and stylistically unique roles, continuing to work in both feature films and shorts like Good Bad Things (2024).
